Jacquee Krause was born and raised in Pennsylvania and now resides in Naples, FL. She discovered at a very young age she had a natural ability to paint. After her first commission at the age of 13, she pursued her interest in the arts by embarking on an education and career in graphic design. While developing her talents in the graphic design business, a fondness for the fine arts flourished and became her chosen path. Her versatility in such mediums as pastels, watercolors, oil and acrylics, shows the range of her artistic vision as she captures the emotion and insight of wildlife and landscapes in a realistic quality.
Her main objective with each painting is to deeply demonstrate the beauty of wildlife in their natural habitat in it's most vivid form. Each painting is created by using a layer upon layer of light washes building up to show the true depth of the subject from extensive research and referential photographs.
Her work has been featured in wildlife magazines, numerous conservation fundraisers, national art festivals and had a one woman show at the Everglades Museum.
