MakeWells

Makewells is the art and design studio of artist Megan Wells. Megan lives and works in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband, Brent, daughter, Livi and loveable miniature pinscher, George. She is an artist, instructor and author who loves bright colors, getting messy and teaching others the joy of expressing their creativity. Megan loves to make art that brightens others' days.

Megan founded her studio, MakeWells, in 2012 after six years of teaching high school art. Since then, she has authored and published four books, including "Hand-Lettering: An Interactive Guide to Drawing Letters", which has now sold more than 100k copies. She has 13 online classes for those wanting to learn the joy of creating through lettering, Bible journaling, painting flowers and more. Megan has worked with companies such as Pottery Barn Kids and Teen, Minted, Peter Pauper Press, Harper Collins, Workman Publishing, Quarto Press and more. You can find her work in Barnes and Noble, Target, TJ Maxx, and other major retailers worldwide.

When she's not creating, you can usually find her near the ocean, where she loves beach combing, swimming, snorkeling and diving. Saltwater is in her blood, and she loves sharing her love for the ocean with her 4-year-old daughter and husband. Other activities she enjoys are drinking coffee while reading a good book, enjoying a bowl of Moosetracks frozen yogurt, walking at night while looking at the stars, and reading her Bible.

Megan is a firm believer that God gives everyone unique gifts they can use to glorify Him. Creating is her gift, and she seeks to honor Him in all she makes and does.
