A native New Englander, Robin-Lee enjoys the rocky coast line and rural areas which seem just a stone’s throw from each other. It is somewhere in-between she loves to photograph most. “I love all the nooks and crannies that are usually never noticed by passersby, a lone tree, beautiful old stone walls, or a river winding through the woodland.” Robin-Lee likes to elevate the ordinary into something special with her use of textures and tonal manipulation to bring just the right mood and light to her work. Her favorite subject is that of “old time” New England antiquity and the more simple, less complicated way of life which can also be found in many of her works.
Robin-Lee can be found with camera, her husband and their Portuguese Water Dog in tow, scouting and seeking out those obscure little places in an around New England that she considers understated treasures. ”Every day and season brings with it something new just waiting to be discovered and captured and I look forward to them!”
